Betty Williams, an Irish peace activist, recently won the Nobel Peace Prize. She also gave a speech saying, she could kill President Bush. At first she denied making the comment, but when it was verified organizers of the event. Then she admitted it and said it was wrong. Her statement was this:

"Right now, I could kill George Bush," she said. "No, I don't mean that. How could you nonviolently kill somebody? I would love to be able to do that."

The Nobel committee continues to be a left wing lap dog. It's a joke and to be nominated doesn't mean much and to win means even less. At least she was open and honest about what she thinks rather than hide it behind vague statements that could mean anything.
